Description:
This Reese Peanut Butter Cup Banana Bread is rich, ultra-moist, and packed with sweet banana flavor and creamy peanut butter goodness. Chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups melt into the batter as it bakes, creating pockets of chocolate and peanut butter in every bite. It’s the perfect combination of classic banana bread and a candy lover’s dream — ideal for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon treat with coffee.
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
½ cup unsalted butter, melted (or vegetable oil)
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
Mix wet ingredients: Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and peanut butter to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined and creamy.
Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Combine everything: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined (do not overmix).
Fold in the goodies: Gently fold in the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle a few extra candy pieces on top if desired.
Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Tips:
Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness and moisture.
Let the bread cool fully so the chocolate sets slightly before slicing.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
