This simple and healthy banana oatmeal dessert is naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and made with wholesome oats. It’s soft, moist, and perfectly satisfying — all mixed in one bowl and cooked in a mug. No flour, no gluten, and absolutely no added sugar. Perfect for a quick breakfast or guilt-free dessert.
Ingredients:
4 ripe bananas
1 egg
1/3 cup (80 ml) milk
1 cup (100 g) oats
Optional (for extra flavor):
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
A few dark chocolate chips (sugar-free if preferred)
Chopped nuts
Method:
Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. The riper the bananas, the sweeter your dessert will be.
Add the egg and milk to the mashed bananas. Mix well until fully combined.
Stir in the oats and mix until you get a thick batter. If you like a smoother texture, you can blend the oats before adding them.
Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe mug, filling it about 3/4 full.
Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes, depending on your microwave’s power. The top should be set and slightly firm to the touch.
Let it cool for 1–2 minutes before eating. Enjoy warm straight from the mug.
