Honey Garlic Chicken Breast

You’ve never tasted chicken breast like this before! Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and coated in a rich, glossy honey garlic sauce that’s perfectly sweet, savory, and slightly tangy. It’s an easy and quick recipe that turns simple ingredients into a restaurant-quality meal your family will keep asking for!
Ingredients
3 chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup flour
3 tbsp unsalted butter (or margarine)
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Directions
Prepare the Chicken:
Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets (this helps them cook faster and more evenly). Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Coat with Flour:
Lightly dredge each piece in flour, shaking off any excess. This will give the chicken a beautiful golden crust.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted and hot, add the chicken pieces. Cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).
Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and black pepper. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until it slightly thickens.
Combine:
Return the cooked chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top. Let it simmer together for another 2–3 minutes so the chicken absorbs all the delicious flavors.
Serve:
Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Spoon extra sauce over the top for maximum flavor.
This irresistible honey garlic chicken is so delicious, you’ll want to make it again and again!
