Ingredients:
For the Pasta:
400g pasta (penne or spaghetti)
500g ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups tomato sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
For the Garlic Bread:
1 baguette, sliced
3 tablespoons butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation Method:
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Beef Sauce:
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 10–15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Combine:
Add the cooked pasta to the beef sauce and mix well until evenly coated.
Make the Garlic Bread:
Mix softened butter with minced garlic and parsley.
Spread the mixture on baguette slices.
Toast in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Assemble & Serve:
Transfer the beef pasta to a serving dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top while hot.
Arrange the crispy garlic bread slices over the pasta before serving.
