They’re creamy, chocolatey, naturally sweet from bananas, and portion-controlled — making them ideal for meal prep or a quick freezer snack. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a refreshing dessert that feels indulgent but fits beautifully into a balanced lifestyle.
They’re especially great during warmer months, and kids love them too!

Ingredients:
2 medium ripe bananas
1/4 cup natural peanut butter (smooth)
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (or sugar-free chocolate chips)
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)

Method:
Slice the Bananas:
Peel the bananas and slice them into thick rounds (about 1/2 inch thick).

Add Peanut Butter:
Spread a small amount of peanut butter on top of half of the banana slices.
Place another banana slice on top to create little sandwiches. Gently press together.

Freeze First:
Place the banana sandwiches on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for about 30–45 minutes until firm.

Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.

Dip in Chocolate:
Remove the banana bites from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, coating completely or halfway.

Final Freeze:
Place them back on the tray and freeze again for at least 1 hour until fully set.
Serve & Store:
Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Let sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes before eating for the best texture.
Tip:
For extra flavor, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top before the chocolate sets!
Enjoy your healthy frozen treat! 🍫❄️
