Loaded Cheesy Chili Hotdogs Bursting with Flavor

Ingredients (Serves 4)
4 beef hotdogs
4 hotdog buns
2 cups prepared chili (homemade or canned)
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
2 tablespoons butter (optional, for toasting buns)
¼ cup diced onions (optional)
2 tablespoons sliced jalapeños (optional)
Mustard or ketchup (optional)

Method
Prepare the Hotdogs
Grill, boil, or pan-fry the hotdogs according to your preference until heated through and slightly browned.

Heat the Chili
In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the chili until hot and bubbly. Stir occasionally.

Toast the Buns (Optional but Recommended)
Lightly butter the inside of the buns and toast them in a pan or under the broiler for 1–2 minutes until golden.

Assemble the Hotdogs
Place one hotdog in each bun. Spoon a generous amount of hot chili over each hotdog.

Add the Cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top while the chili is still hot so it melts beautifully.

For extra melt, place the assembled hotdogs under the broiler for 1–2 minutes.
