Ingredients
For the French Toast:
8 thick slices of brioche or Texas toast
3 large eggs
¾ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter (for cooking)
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
½ cup granulated sugar
1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
For the Cream Cheese Icing:
4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk (adjust for desired consistency)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Method
Prepare the Custard
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Dip the Bread
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, letting it soak for a few seconds on each side without becoming soggy.

Cook the French Toast
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt the butter. Cook the soaked bread slices for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Make the Cinnamon Sugar
In a separate shallow dish, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.

Coat the Toast
While the French toast is still warm, gently press each slice into the cinnamon sugar mixture, coating both sides evenly.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Icing
In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until creamy and drizzle-able.

Serve
Arrange the churro French toast on a plate and drizzle generously with cream cheese icing.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Tip: Add fresh berries, sliced bananas, or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for an extra special touch.
