Ingredients:
2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated Asiago cheese
½ cup chicken broth
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: chopped parsley or spinach for garnish
Preparation Method:
Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
Add the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring gently. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in the grated Asiago cheese and cook until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
Garnish with parsley or spinach if desired, and serve hot.
Serving tip: Perfect with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
