Honey Butter Chicken Kebabs


Juicy, golden chicken kebabs glazed with sweet honey butter. Simple, irresistible, and perfect for grill or oven.

Ingredients

500 g (1 lb) chicken breast or thighs, cut into cubes

3 tbsp honey

3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Optional: chili flakes or cayenne for a spicy kick

Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

1️⃣ Marinate the chicken
In a bowl, mix honey, melted butter, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken, toss well, and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours).

2️⃣ Assemble kebabs
Thread chicken pieces onto skewers.

3️⃣ Cook

Grill: Medium-high heat, 10–12 minutes, turning and basting with extra marinade.

Oven: Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes, broil last 2–3 minutes for caramelization.

Pan/Air fryer: Cook until golden and cooked through.

4️⃣ Finish
Brush with extra honey butter, rest 2 minutes, and serve hot.

Tips

Add bell peppers or onions between chicken pieces for extra flavor.

Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped parsley.

Serve with rice, salad, or garlic naan.
