These baked garlic Parmesan fries are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with bold, savory flavor. Roasted to golden perfection and tossed with fragrant garlic and salty Parmesan, they’re a lighter yet irresistible alternative to deep-fried fries—perfect as a snack, side dish, or party favorite.
Ingredients
4 large russet potatoes, cut into thin fries
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried parsley or fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 220°C / 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Wash and dry the potatoes well, then cut them into thin, even fries.
In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan and parsley. Toss gently so the cheese melts over the hot fries.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Tip: For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before baking, then dry them thoroughly.
