Slow Cooker Hollowed Apples (3-Ingredient Sweet Treat)

Description:
These slow cooker hollowed apples are the definition of simple comfort. With just three basic ingredients, whole apples are gently steamed until tender and juicy, filling your kitchen with the warm, cozy aroma of baked apples. It’s an easy, wholesome dessert (or breakfast treat) that feels special without any fuss—perfect for busy days or when you want something sweet but not heavy.

Ingredients :
4–6 medium apples (such as Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp)
1/4 cup brown sugar (or maple syrup)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:
Wash the apples well. Using a small knife or apple corer, carefully hollow out the center of each apple, removing the core and seeds while keeping the bottom intact.

Arrange the hollowed apples upright in the slow cooker.

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Spoon the mixture evenly into the hollowed centers of the apples.

Add 1/4 cup water to the bottom of the slow cooker to create steam.

Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or on HIGH for 1.5–2 hours, until the apples are tender but still hold their shape.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve warm on their own, or top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a spoon of Greek yogurt for a cozy finish.
