Ingredients
1 pound pasta (rotini works great)
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
Onion powder, garlic & herb seasoning, woodfired garlic seasoning (to taste)
2 tablespoons cornstarch (for chicken)
Oil, for cooking
3 tablespoons butter
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
¼ cup honey
¼ cup brown sugar
1–2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, add the chicken pieces and season generously with onion powder, garlic & herb seasoning, and woodfired garlic seasoning.
Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and toss until the chicken is well coated.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil and 3 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter is melted, add the chicken in a single layer.
Cook the chicken for about 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, chicken broth, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch until smooth.
Pour the sauce into the skillet with the chicken and stir well. Increase heat to medium-high and let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes until thickened and glossy.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
Serving Tip
Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor and a beautiful finish. Serve with a fresh green salad or steamed veggies for a complete meal.
