Big Back Publix Sandwich


(Overloaded Deli-Style Sub – Publix Inspired)

If you love big portions, bold flavors, and stacked sandwiches, this Big Back Publix–style sub is made for you! Packed with layers of juicy meats, melty cheese, fresh veggies, and creamy sauces, it’s the kind of sandwich that satisfies serious cravings and leaves no room for regret.

Ingredients
1 large sub roll or hoagie bread
4 slices turkey breast
4 slices ham
4 slices roast beef
2–4 slices provolone or American cheese
Lettuce, shredded
Tomato slices
Red onion slices
Pickles or banana peppers (optional)
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Olive oil
Red wine vinegar
Salt and black pepper
Oregano (optional)

Preparation Method
Prepare the Bread
Slice the sub roll lengthwise, without cutting all the way through. Lightly toast it if desired for extra texture.

Add the Sauces
Spread mayonnaise on one side of the bread and mustard on the other.

Layer the Meats
Stack the turkey, ham, and roast beef generously. This sandwich is meant to be BIG and loaded.

Add the Cheese
Place the cheese slices on top of the meat. If you like it melted, heat the sandwich briefly in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes.
Top with Vegetables
Add lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles or banana peppers.

Season It
Drizzle a little olive oil and red wine vinegar over the veggies. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and oregano.

Close & Serve
Press the sandwich together, cut in half, and serve immediately.
