Creamy Coleslaw

This Creamy Coleslaw is a classic, refreshing side dish made with crisp cabbage, sweet carrots, and a smooth, tangy dressing. Ingredients
For the vegetables:
Green cabbage, finely shredded
Purple (red) cabbage, finely shredded
Carrots, grated
Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)

For the dressing:
Mayonnaise
Vinegar or fresh lemon juice
Dijon mustard
Sugar or honey
Sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
Salt
Black pepper

Preparation Method

Prepare the vegetables:
Shred the green cabbage and purple cabbage finely.
Grate the carrots.
Place all vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
Add chopped parsley if using.

Make the dressing:
In a separate bowl, add mayonnaise, vinegar or lemon juice, Dijon mustard, sugar or honey, and sour cream (if using).
Season with salt and black pepper.
Whisk well until the dressing is smooth and creamy.

Combine:
Pour the dressing over the prepared vegetables.
Toss gently until all the vegetables are evenly coated.

Chill:
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Serve cold for the best flavor and texture.
