
Ingredients:
Cracker Base:
1 box Ritz crackers (about 200 g / 7 oz, ~60 crackers)
Savory Filling:
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened (120 g / 4.2 oz)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (60 g / 2 oz)
2 tablespoons mayonnaise (30 ml / 30 g)
1 tablespoon Dijon or yellow mustard (15 ml / 15 g)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (1 g)
1/4 teaspoon paprika (1 g)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional Add-Ins (choose 1–2):
2 tablespoons finely chopped pickles (30 g / 1 oz)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (15 g / 0.5 oz)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (5 g)
Optional Buttery Finish (for baked version):
3 tablespoons butter, melted (45 g)
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire-style sauce (2.5 ml)
1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (1 g)
Directions:
No-Bake Version:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Stir in any optional add-ins if using.
Spread about 1 teaspoon of filling onto one Ritz cracker and top with another cracker to form a sandwich.
Repeat with remaining crackers. Chill for 15 minutes before serving for best texture.
Baked Party Version (Optional):
Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
Arrange assembled cracker sandwiches on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Mix melted butter with Worcestershire-style sauce and poppy seeds.
Brush lightly over the tops of the crackers.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until warmed through and lightly golden. Cool slightly before serving.
