Homemade Sage & Thyme Pork Sausage


Ingredients:

1 lb ground pork

1 tsp dried sage

1 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Preparation:

In a bowl, combine ground pork, sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Form the sausage mixture into small patties or leave as bulk sausage for crumbling.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
