Vegan Cheddar Bay Biscuits (Dairy-Free & Irresistible!)

Ingredients

For the biscuits:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp paprika (optional)

¾ cup unsweetened plant-based milk (almond, soy, or oat)

⅓ cup melted vegan butter or neutral oil

1 cup vegan shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

For the garlic topping:

3 tbsp melted vegan butter

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried parsley

Pinch of salt

Preparation Method

1️⃣ Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and paprika.

3️⃣ Add wet ingredients
Pour in the plant-based milk and melted vegan butter. Mix gently until just combined—do not overmix.

4️⃣ Add vegan cheese
Fold in the vegan cheddar and parsley until evenly distributed.

5️⃣ Shape the biscuits
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each biscuit.

6️⃣ Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden on top.

7️⃣ Prepare garlic topping
Mix melted vegan butter with garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt.

8️⃣ Finish and serve
