Caramel Fridge Tart – A No-Bake Creamy Delight

Caramel Fridge Tart is a classic no-bake dessert that’s irresistibly creamy, rich, and comforting. With layers of caramel-flavored biscuits and a smooth, fluffy caramel cream filling, this dessert is perfect when you want something sweet without turning on the oven. It’s ideal for family gatherings, holidays, or a simple make-ahead treat to enjoy straight from the fridge.


Ingredients:

  • 90 g instant caramel or butterscotch pudding mix
  • 450 ml very cold milk
  • 250 ml fresh cream (heavy whipping cream)
  • 1–2 packets caramel biscuits (such as Tennis biscuits or any caramel-flavored cookies)

Preparation Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the instant caramel pudding mix with the cold milk until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and lump-free.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the fresh cream until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the caramel pudding mixture using a spatula until well combined and fluffy.
  4. Arrange a single layer of caramel biscuits at the bottom of a rectangular or square dish.
  5. Spread a generous layer of the caramel cream mixture over the biscuits.
  6. Repeat the layering process (biscuits, then caramel cream) until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of caramel cream on top.
  7. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the dessert to set properly.
  8. Once set, slice into squares and serve chilled.

Serving Tip:

For an extra touch, decorate the top with crushed caramel biscuits, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or a light dusting of cocoa powder before serving
