Ingredients
10 slices mozzarella cheese
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz crab meat, finely diced
Garlic powder, to taste
Optional add-ins: chopped green onion, black pepper
Instructions
- Make the Filling
In a bowl, mix together:
Cream cheese
Crab meat
Garlic powder
Pepper
Green onion (if using)
Stir until well combined.
- Melt the Cheese “Wrappers”
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the mozzarella slices and bake for 5 minutes, just until melted and flexible.
- Fill & Fold
Remove the cheese slices from the oven.
Quickly spoon some crab mixture onto one half of each melted slice.
Fold each piece into a triangle and press edges down gently to seal.
Tip: Work fast — if the cheese cools too much, it won’t seal properly.
- Bake Again
Return the folded rangoons to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes until lightly golden and set.
