A simple, delicious dessert that brings together creamy cheesecake, sweet strawberry filling, and a buttery cake topping—all baked in one pan with almost no effort. Perfect for weeknights, gatherings, or when you need a quick, crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1 can strawberry pie filling

1 package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Spread the strawberry filling:
Pour the strawberry pie filling into the bottom of the baking dish and spread it evenly.
  3. Make the cheesecake layer:
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberry layer, spreading gently.
  4. Add the cake mix:
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberry and cheesecake layers. Do not mix.
  5. Add butter:
Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Try to cover as much of the surface as possible.
  6. Bake:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
  7. Cool and serve:
Let it cool slightly before serving.
