Condensed Milk Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup (120ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup (100g) sugar
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (80g) chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then mix in condensed milk and vanilla extract.

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together, then fold into the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.

Add chocolate chips or chunks and mix evenly.
Cover and chill the dough for about 20–30 minutes for easier handling.

Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Scoop small balls of dough, flatten slightly, and place on the tray leaving space between each cookie.

Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Allow to cool on the tray before transferring to a rack.
