Ingredients:
4 cups canned baked beans (or 2 cans, 28 oz each)
6–8 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup barbecue sauce
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for smokiness)
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the bacon and onions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a pan, cook the chopped bacon until lightly crispy.
Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and fragrant.
Drain excess fat if needed.
- Mix the sauce
In a large bowl, combine:
brown sugar
ketchup
barbecue sauce
mustard
Worcestershire sauce
smoked paprika
garlic powder
salt & pepper
Stir well until smooth.
- Combine everything
Add the baked beans to the bowl.
Add the cooked bacon and onions.
Mix until fully combined.
