
This dish is rich, flavorful, and loaded with tender chicken, crisp asparagus, smoky bacon, and a decadent cream sauce. Even better the next day!
Ingredients
1 lb thin-sliced chicken breast
Asparagus (trimmed)
Bacon (cooked and diced)
Heavy cream
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Butter
Garlic paste
Salt
Pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Cajun seasoning
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and a light sprinkle of Cajun seasoning.
Melt butter in a skillet and pan-fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Remove chicken and set aside.
- Make the Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, melt a bit more butter.
Add garlic paste and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in about 1 cup of heavy cream and let it heat until small bubbles form.
Add Parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper.
Stir and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Combine Everything
Add the cooked chicken and asparagus back to the skillet.
Cover and cook until the asparagus is tender (to your liking).
- Finish with Cheese & Bacon
Turn off the heat and sprinkle mozzarella over the top.
Cover to melt the cheese.
Sprinkle with diced, cooked bacon before serving.
