For the Cajun Salmon
1 salmon fillet
1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
Β½ tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
For the Cajun Shrimp
8β10 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
Β½ tsp Cajun seasoning
Β½ tsp garlic powder
Β½ tbsp olive oil
For the Dirty Rice
1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
Β½ cup bell peppers (green & red), diced
Β½ small onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
Optional: green onions for topping

- Cook the Salmon
Rub salmon with oil, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear in a hot skillet, 4β5 minutes per side, until blackened and flaky.
- Cook the Shrimp
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder.
In the same skillet, cook 2β3 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Dirty Rice
Add butter to the skillet.
SautΓ© onions, bell peppers, and garlic until soft and browned.
Add cooked rice, Cajun seasoning, and soy sauce/Worcestershire.
Toss everything together until the rice is well-coated and flavorful.
Fold the shrimp back into the rice (or leave them on top).

Scoop the dirty rice into a bowl or plate, place the blackened salmon on top, and drizzle any leftover skillet butter over the dish.
