
Description
This Surf and Turf dish combines perfectly grilled steak with tender buttery lobster tails, creamy mac and cheese, and roasted asparagus — a restaurant-quality meal that you can easily make at home. Rich, flavorful, and unforgettable!
Ingredients
For the Steak
2 ribeye steaks
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
For the Lobster Tails
2 lobster tails, split in half
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
Pinch paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Mac & Cheese
2 cups cooked macaroni
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 cup milk or cream
2 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Asparagus
1 bunch asparagus
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Method of Preparation
- Prepare the Steak
Pat steaks dry and rub them with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat a grill or skillet over high heat.
Cook the steaks for 3–5 minutes per side (depending on desired doneness).
Add 1 tbsp of butter on top in the last minute of cooking.
Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Cook the Lobster Tails
Mix melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter mixture.
Grill or bake at 220°C (425°F) for 10–12 minutes until opaque and tender.
Brush again with butter before serving.
- Make the Mac & Cheese
Melt butter in a pot and add milk/cream.
Add cheddar cheese and stir until smooth.
Add cooked macaroni, season with salt & pepper, and mix well.
- Roast the Asparagus
Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Roast in the oven or grill for 8–10 minutes until tender.
- Assemble the Plate
Place steak, lobster tail, mac & cheese, and asparagus on a plate.
Garnish the steak and lobster with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve hot and enjoy an unforgettable meal!
