
Ingredients
• 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 2–3 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional but delicious)
• 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and bacon.
3. Roll out the puff pastry and spread the mixture evenly over half the sheet.
4. Fold the pastry in half to cover the filling and press lightly.
5. Cut into strips about 1 inch wide.
6. Twist each strip several times and place on the baking sheet.
7. Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
8. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
