Ingredients
10 oz canned chicken (Costco brand works great)
1/2 cup shredded cheese (pepper jack recommended, or any cheese you like)
1 egg
Everything Bagel seasoning (optional but delicious)
Oil spray (to prevent sticking)
Instructions
- Make the Mixture
In a bowl, combine the canned chicken, shredded cheese, and egg.
Mix until fully combined.
- Form the Nuggets
Scoop the mixture using a cookie scoop (or spoon).
Flatten slightly to form nugget shapes.
Sprinkle the tops with Everything Bagel seasoning, if desired.
Air Fryer Method
Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
Spray the basket well—they stick!
Place nuggets in a single layer.
Cook for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Oven Method
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Place nuggets on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
