How to prepare Pan-Seared Spiced Salmon with Garlic Broccoli & Cauliflower

A simple, protein-rich plate featuring crispy-edged salmon fillets seasoned with warm spices, served alongside tender broccoli and cauliflower tossed in garlic and herbs.

For the Salmon

2 salmon fillets

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

Β½ tsp black pepper

Β½ tsp onion powder

Salt to taste

Β½ lemon (for serving)

For the Veggies

1Β½ cups broccoli florets

1Β½ cups cauliflower florets

1 tbsp butter or olive oil

1 garlic clove, minced

Salt & pepper

Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning

Prep the salmon
Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Rub the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.

Cook the salmon
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Sear salmon 3–4 minutes per side until golden, crispy, and cooked to your preference.
Squeeze fresh lemon over the top once done.

Cook the veggies
Steam or microwave broccoli and cauliflower until just tender (about 3–4 minutes).
In a skillet, melt butter or add oil.
Add minced garlic, then stir in the veggies.
Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook 2–3 minutes until lightly coated and fragrant.

Plate & enjoy
Serve salmon next to the garlicky veggie mix.
Add an extra lemon wedge for brightness.
