How To Prepare Loaded Steak & Avocado Power Plate with Soft-Boiled Eggs & Caramelized Onions

This protein-packed, nutrient-dense plate is bursting with flavor! Tender seasoned steak strips, buttery avocado slices, perfectly soft-boiled eggs, and sweet caramelized onions come together over a bed of fresh greens. A wholesome, filling, and energizing meal—perfect for lunch or dinner!

Ingredients
For the Steak & Onions

200–250g steak (flank, sirloin, or skirt)

1 tbsp olive oil

½ red onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, sliced

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt

1 tsp soy sauce or lemon juice (optional)

For the Eggs

2 soft-boiled eggs

For the Avocado & Greens

½–1 avocado, sliced

1 cup fresh spinach or mixed greens

Pinch of black pepper

Directions

  1. Cook the Steak & Onions

Slice steak into thin strips.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a touch of soy or lemon.

Heat olive oil in a pan; sauté sliced onions and garlic until soft.

Add steak strips and cook 3–4 minutes until browned and juicy.

Let everything caramelize slightly for deeper flavor.

  1. Soft-Boil the Eggs

Place eggs in boiling water for 6½ minutes.

Transfer to cold water, peel, and slice.

  1. Prepare the Avocado & Greens

Slice avocado thinly.

Add to plate with spinach or greens.

Sprinkle with pepper.

  1. Assemble the Plate

Place the greens down first.

Add steak-onion mixture.

Arrange avocado slices and soft eggs around it.

Finish with a sprinkle of black pepper.
