How to prepare Simple Seasoned Salmon Plate with Brown Rice, Broccoli & Baby Carrots

A light and healthy dish featuring pan-seared seasoned salmon served alongside steamed broccoli, sweet baby carrots, and warm brown rice. Perfect for meal prep or a quick balanced dinner.

For the Salmon

1 salmon fillet

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper

Β½ tsp garlic powder

Optional: squeeze of lemon

For the Vegetables

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup baby carrots

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: 1 tsp butter

For the Rice

1 cup cooked brown rice

  1. Cook the Salmon

Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook salmon 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky.

Add a squeeze of lemon on top if desired.

  1. Steam the Veggies

Steam broccoli and carrots 5–7 minutes until tender but bright.

Season with salt, pepper, and a small pat of butter (optional).

  1. Warm the Rice

Reheat prepared brown rice or cook fresh according to package directions.

  1. Plate

Arrange salmon, brown rice, broccoli, and baby carrots neatly on a plate. Enjoy warm.
