Ingredients
For the Base:
- 1 cup crushed nuts (walnut/almond mix)
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp honey or syrup
For the Pink Mousse:
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pink food coloring or strawberry powder
- 1 tbsp gelatin + 2 tbsp warm water
For the Apple Filling:
- 1–2 apples, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon Directions
- Make the base: Mix crushed nuts, melted butter, and honey. Press into silicone molds and chill.
- Cook the apples: Sauté chopped apples with butter, sugar, and cinnamon until soft. Let cool.
- Prepare the mousse:
– Whip the cream until fluffy.
– Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla.
– Add pink color.
– Mix in the dissolved gelatin.
– Fold whipped cream into the pink mixture. - Assemble:
– Fill rose-shaped molds halfway with mousse.
– Add a spoonful of apple filling.
– Cover with more mousse.
– Seal with the nutty base. - Freeze or chill: Freeze for 2–3 hours, then pop out of the molds.
