How To Prepare Keto Cobb Salad with Avocado & Bacon

Ingredients

2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 cup broccoli florets, chopped

1/2 avocado, sliced

2 slices of cooked bacon, chopped

1 boiled egg, chopped or quartered

1/4 cup diced tomato (optional, in small quantity to stay keto)

1/4 cup diced yellow bell pepper

1/4 cup diced ham or turkey

2 tbsp shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional dressing

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

1/2 tsp Dijon mustard

Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Mix all dressing ingredients in a small bowl or shake them in a jar.

Instructions

Cook bacon until crispy; let it cool, then crumble.

Prepare all veggies — chop lettuce, broccoli, bell pepper, and tomato.

Assemble salad on a plate: start with lettuce, then layer the broccoli, bell pepper, tomato, ham, and cheese.

Add protein and fat: top with egg, avocado slices, and bacon bits.

Drizzle dressing over the top and finish with freshly ground black pepper.
