Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch deep dish pie pan.
- Make the cookie dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, beating until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and salt mixture) until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough into the prepared pie pan, creating an even layer at the bottom.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
- Pour the brownie batter over the cookie dough layer in the pie pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few crumbs.
- Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.
