How TO Prepare Cajun Salmon with Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Buttered Lobster Bits

Cajun Salmon

2 salmon fillets

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp Cajun seasoning

Β½ tsp garlic powder

Β½ tsp paprika

Salt & pepper

Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

3 large potatoes, peeled & cubed

3 tbsp butter

ΒΌ cup heavy cream (or milk)

2 garlic cloves, minced

Salt & pepper

Buttered Lobster Bits (No Bacon)

Β½ cup cooked lobster meat (or crab)

1 tbsp butter

ΒΌ tsp garlic powder

ΒΌ tsp Cajun seasoning

Squeeze of lemon

Optional: parsley

  1. Make the Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes until fork-tender (12–15 minutes).

Mash with butter, cream, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Adjust creaminess to taste.

  1. Cook the Cajun Salmon

Season salmon with Cajun, paprika, garlic, salt & pepper.

Heat oil/butter in a pan over medium-high.

Sear salmon 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky.

Spoon pan juices over the top.

  1. Prepare the Buttered Lobster Bits

Melt butter in a small pan.

Add lobster meat + seasonings.

Cook 1–2 minutes until warmed and coated.

Finish with a small squeeze of lemon.

  1. Plate

Place mashed potatoes, top with lobster bits, add salmon fillets, and drizzle extra butter from the pans.
