
A Crowd-Pleasing Snack!
Crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside — these halal hot dog cheese bread rolls are the ultimate party snack! They’re quick to prepare, kid-friendly, and perfect for gatherings, game nights, and lunchboxes.
Ingredients
6 halal hot dogs
6 slices of sandwich bread (edges trimmed)
6 cheese slices (or shredded mozzarella/cheddar)
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika (optional)
Oil for frying (or air-frying/baking as an alternative)
How to Make Them
- Prepare the Bread
Trim the crust from each slice of bread.
Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice completely.
- Assemble the Rolls
Place one slice of cheese on each flattened piece of bread.
Add a halal hot dog at one end and roll tightly like a wrap.
Press gently to seal the edge.
- Coat the Rolls
Season the beaten eggs with black pepper and garlic powder (and paprika if using).
Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture.
Roll them in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Cook
Choose your preferred method:
Pan-Fry:
Heat oil and fry rolls on all sides until golden and crispy.
Air-Fry (Healthier):
Brush lightly with oil and air-fry at 190°C (375°F) for 8–10 minutes.
Bake:
Place on a tray, spray with oil, and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 12–15 minutes until crispy.

Extra Tips
Make sure the bread is flattened well so it rolls tightly.
For extra cheesiness, sprinkle shredded cheese inside before rolling.
