HOW TO PREPARE Keto Chicken Alfredo Calzone

This cheesy, golden-baked calzone is a total game changer — rich, creamy, and made with a low-carb Fathead dough!

Ingredients

For the Dough (Fathead Pizza Dough):

¾ cup almond flour

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp cream cheese

1 large egg

For the Filling:

Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade — see below)

Cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

Shredded mozzarella cheese

For the Egg Wash:

1 beaten egg

Instructions

Preheat the Oven
Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the Dough
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese.
Microwave for 1 minute, then stir until smooth and melted together.

Add the Dry Ingredients
Stir in almond flour and egg, mixing until the dough is fully incorporated and forms a smooth ball.
If it’s sticky, place the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up.

Shape the Calzone
Roll or flatten the dough into a circle or oval between two sheets of parchment paper.
Spoon Alfredo sauce over one half of the dough, leaving a small border at the edge.
Add chicken and mozzarella cheese (and any other toppings you like).

Seal and Bake
Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape. Press and crimp the edges to seal.
Brush the top with egg wash for a golden finish.
Bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Homemade Alfredo Sauce (Optional)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper, to taste

Heat butter and cream in a small saucepan. Add Parmesan and stir until smooth and thickened.

Serving Tip

Let the calzone cool slightly before slicing — the cheese inside will be hot and gooey! Perfect with a sprinkle of Italian herbs or a side of extra Alfredo sauce for dipping.
