Cheese roll with blueberries, pistachios, and figs


Ingredients

200 g of cream cheese
100g goat cheese (optional for more flavour)
50 g of chopped dried cranberries
40 g of peeled and chopped pistachios
2 chopped fresh or dried figs
1 teaspoon of honey
1 pinch of salt
film to roll up

Preparation

  1. Place the cream cheese and goat cheese in a bowl, and mix until you get a smooth and even texture.
  2. Add honey and a pinch of salt, mix well to integrate the flavors.
  3. Incorporate blueberries, pistachios, and chopped figs, mixing evenly.
  4. Extend a piece of paper film on the table and place the cheese mixture on top forming a rectangle or uniform layer.
  5. Carefully roll the cheese with the help of paper film, shaping it into a compact cylinder.
  6. Close the ends of the paper film well and refrigerate the roll for at least 3 hours or until firm.
  7. Once cold, remove the film paper and, if desired, roll the roll in more chopped pistachios or dried cranberries for decoration.
  8. Slice into slices and serve on rolls or savory crackers.
