Description:
This 7 Layer Cobb Salad Dip is a fresh, colorful, and crowd-pleasing appetizer that combines all the classic flavors of a Cobb salad — creamy, tangy, and full of texture! Layers of seasoned cream cheese, ranch dressing, crispy bacon, juicy chicken, eggs, avocado, and fresh veggies create a delicious dip that’s perfect for parties, game days, or any get-together. Serve it with tortilla chips, pita chips, or crunchy veggies for dipping — it’s always a hit!

Ingredients:

Base layer:

8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup (120 g) sour cream

1/4 cup (60 ml) ranch dressing

Salt and pepper, to taste

Toppings (layers):

1 cup (150 g) cooked chicken breast, diced

1/2 cup (75 g) crispy bacon, crumbled

2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

1 large avocado, diced and drizzled with lemon juice

1 cup (150 g) cherry tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup (75 g) blue cheese or feta, crumbled

1/2 cup (75 g) chopped lettuce or green onions

Optional garnish: extra bacon bits, chives, or a drizzle of ranch on top

Instructions:

Prepare the base:
In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing until smooth and creamy. Season with a little salt and pepper.

Layer it up:
Spread the creamy base evenly in the bottom of a serving dish (a shallow glass dish works great to show off the layers).

Add the toppings in layers:

First, add diced chicken.

Then sprinkle on the crumbled bacon.

Add chopped eggs, followed by diced avocado.

Layer the chopped tomatoes on top.

Sprinkle with blue cheese (or feta).

Finish with chopped lettuce or green onions.

Chill and serve:
Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors blend. Serve chilled with chips, crackers, or fresh veggie sticks.

Tips:

To keep avocado from browning, toss it with lemon or lime juice.

You can replace chicken with turkey, shrimp, or even tofu for a vegetarian option.

Serve in a trifle bowl or clear glass dish for a beautiful presentation.
