Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Fried Eggs

Ingredients:

400 g (14 oz) beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into cubes

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (or cilantro)

1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for spice)

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 eggs

Optional: a squeeze of lemon or drizzle of soy sauce for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the steak:
Pat the steak cubes dry with a paper towel and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Cook the steak:
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking.
  3. Add flavor:
Lower the heat, add minced garlic, chili flakes, and parsley. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Toss the steak cubes to coat them well in the garlic butter sauce. Remove from heat and set aside on one side of the pan.
  4. Fry the eggs:
In the same pan, add a little butter if needed. Crack in the eggs and cook sunny-side up until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve:
Plate the garlic butter steak bites with the fried eggs on the side.
Garnish with extra herbs or chili flakes if desired.
