
Ingredients
2–3 lbs ground beef
3 packets taco seasoning
1 ½ onions, chopped
4 diced tomatoes
1 small jar thick & chunky salsa (Walmart – $1.27)
Jalapeños (optional, for heat)
1 large bag shredded cheese (your choice)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, taco seasoning, onions, tomatoes, salsa, and (if using) jalapeños. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
Line a cookie sheet or cake pan with foil.
Flatten the meat mixture onto the pan, keeping it about 1 ½–2 inches thick.
Bake for 35–40 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top, then place under the broiler for 4–6 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Serve hot with extra salsa on top and green beans (or your favorite low-carb veggie) on the side.
