Kinder Bueno Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Cake:
• 3 eggs (at room temperature)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon liquid oil
• 2.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
• 1 packet baking powder
• 1 packet vanilla
• 1.5 cups flour

White Cream (Middle Layer):
• 2 cups milk
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 2 tablespoons flour
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch
• 4 tablespoons sugar
• 1 packet vanilla
• 1/2 can whipped cream (powder)
→ After baking, add the whipped cream once cooled and beat.

Chocolate Ganache (Thick Layer):
• 200 ml cream
• 200 g chocolate (milk or dark, mixed)
• For topping: Kinder Bueno / grated chocolate / white chocolate

Preparation

1) Preparing the Cake
1. Beat the eggs and sugar for 3-4 minutes until frothy.
2. Add the milk and oil → mix.
3. Sift in the cocoa, flour, baking powder, and vanilla → mix gently.

  1. Pour the batter into a 22-24 cm springform pan.
    1. Bake in a preheated 160°C oven for 35-40 minutes.
    2. Once cooled, slice the cake into 3 layers.

2) Prepare the White Cream
1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan.

  1. Cook, stirring, until it reaches a custard consistency.
    1. Cool (it should not be lukewarm).
    2. Add the powdered whipped cream → beat for 2 minutes → it should become creamy.

3) Ganache

  • Heat the cream → remove from heat before it boils.
    • Add the chocolate → stir until melted.
    • Let rest for 10 minutes (it should be runny but thick).

4) Assembling the Cake
1. Place the first cake layer on a plate.
2. Spread the white cream on top.
3. Place the second cake layer on top.

  1. Pour the chocolate ganache over it.
  2. Place the last cake layer on top.
  3. Cover the outside with the remaining ganache and cream.
    1. Sprinkle Kinder Bueno pieces and grated chocolate on top

Resting
• Let it rest in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours, preferably overnight → it will cut much better and the flavor will settle
