1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp garlic powder
⅛ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Sugar-free marinara sauce (for dipping, like Rao’s or Primal Kitchen)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape the Cheese
Spread the shredded mozzarella into thin rectangular strips (about 4–5 inches long) on the parchment paper.
Leave a small gap between each strip.
- Season
Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Parmesan, and crushed red pepper evenly over the cheese strips.
- Bake
Bake for 6–8 minutes, until the edges start to turn golden brown.
Watch closely so they don’t burn — cheese can crisp fast!
- Roll or Slice
Remove from the oven and let cool for about 30 seconds (just enough to handle).
Gently roll each strip while still pliable — they’ll firm up into perfect cheesy “sticks” as they cool.
- Serve
Serve warm with a side of sugar-free marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
