Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

1/2 cup peanut butter, melted

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 cups powdered sugar

1 cup Reese’s Pieces candy

1 cup mini peanut butter cups, chopped

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps to Create

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Prepare the chocolate cake batter according to the box instructions and pour it into the prepared dish.

In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter cream cheese mixture over the chocolate cake batter.

Use a knife to swirl the two batters together lightly, creating a marble effect.

Sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces and chopped mini peanut butter cups evenly over the top.

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set (it should still be slightly gooey inside).

Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
