Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
For the Bacon Green Beans:
1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
3 slices bacon (chopped)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional Side:
2 buttery croissants (baked and brushed with garlic butter & parsley)
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Salmon:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add salmon fillets (skin-side down) and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon, simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
Garnish with parsley.
2️⃣ Prepare the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:
Mash boiled potatoes with butter and milk (or cream) until smooth.
Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.
Top with crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of parsley before serving.
3️⃣ Cook the Bacon Green Beans:
Cook chopped bacon in a skillet until crispy; remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add olive oil and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
Add green beans and stir-fry until tender (about 6–8 minutes).
Add the bacon back in, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
4️⃣ Serve:
Plate your salmon, mashed potatoes, and green beans beautifully. Add a warm garlic-butter croissant on the side — perfection!
Tips:
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the salmon glaze for a spicy kick.
Use sweet potatoes for a healthier mash variation.
For extra shine, drizzle the salmon with a bit of honey before serving
