Ingredients:
1–1.5 kg beef roast (chuck, brisket, or round)
2–3 large onions, thinly sliced
1 packet onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Place the beef roast in the bottom of the slow cooker and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
Layer the sliced onions generously over the beef, covering it completely.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the onions.
In a bowl, mix the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour the mixture over the onions and beef.
Cover the slow cooker with the lid
and cook:
On LOW for 7–8 hours, or
On HIGH for 4–5 hours
until the beef is fork-tender.
