Ingredients:
1 pound (450 g) dry ziti pasta
4 cups marinara or spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
Preparation Method:
Lightly grease the inside of the slow cooker.
Add the dry ziti pasta to the slow cooker.
Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the pasta.
Add about 1 cup of water if the sauce is very thick.
Spoon the ricotta cheese over the top, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, stirring once halfway if possible, until the pasta is tender.
Serve hot and enjoy a simple, delicious Italian feast!
