
Can’t decide between pizza or burgers? Now you don’t have to! This Pizza Burger Pie brings the best of both worlds in one epic dish!
Ingredients:
1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pepperoni slices
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
1/4 cup sliced pickles
1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough package instructions.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat if needed.
Roll out the pizza dough and place it in a greased pie dish, letting it hang over the edges.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then layer the cooked ground beef, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, mushrooms, bell peppers, and pickles.
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching to seal.
Brush the top with olive oil for a golden finish.
Bake according to the pizza dough package instructions, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
