8 cups finely chopped green cabbage
1/4 cup finely grated carrot
2 tablespoons minced onion
Dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, grated carrot, and onion. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, and salt until smooth and creamy. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and mix well until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors blend. Stir again before serving cold as a classic creamy coleslaw.
