WOULD YOU EAT THIS ITALIAN SAUSAGE WITH PEPPERS AND ONIONS


Ingredients

4 Italian sausages

2 bell peppers (green and yellow), sliced

1 large onion, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Hoagie or sandwich rolls

Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook, turning often, until well browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add onions and peppers. Sauté until soft and lightly caramelized. Add garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper, and cook briefly until fragrant.
Slice the sausages and return them to the pan, tossing everything together so the flavors combine.
Serve the sausage and pepper mixture inside warm rolls and finish with chopped parsley on top.
