Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Crispy Chicken:
4 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)

For the Coating:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Creamy Slaw:
1 ½ cups shredded cabbage (white & purple)
1 carrot, grated
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
Salt & pepper to taste

For Assembly:
4 brioche burger buns
Dill pickle slices
Spicy mayo or burger sauce
Honey mustard or cheddar sauce (optional)
Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
Oil for frying

Full Cooking Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix buttermilk with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and chili powder.
Add chicken, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor).

2️⃣ Prepare the Slaw
In another bowl, combine cabbage and carrot.
Mix mayonnaise, vinegar (or lemon juice), sugar, salt, and pepper.
Toss until creamy and refrigerate to chill.

3️⃣ Coat the Chicken
Mix all coating ingredients in a shallow dish.
Remove chicken from marinade and dredge thoroughly in flour mixture, pressing well.

4️⃣ Fry Until Golden
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Fry chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until deep golden brown and cooked through.
Drain on paper towels.

5️⃣ Toast the Buns
